Pregnancy Support

Some pregnancy experiences that can be supported in therapy:

  • Anxiety and worries about pregnancy, from your health to your baby's wellbeing and everything in between

  • Feeling down, depressed, or as if you find less enjoyment in things than you typically do

  • Navigating a high-risk pregnancy diagnosis or medical complications

  • Fears about birth or a history of traumatic birth experiences

  • Pregnancy after fertility treatment, infertility, or experiencing loss

  • Navigating identity shifts as you become a parent

  • Body image and a changing relationship with your body

  • Navigating changes in relationship and family dynamics

Pregnancy is a time of profound change, and your emotional experience may be more complex than you expected. Alongside joy and anticipation, you may experience anxiety, uncertainty, grief, relationship changes, or questions about who you are becoming.

Therapy offers a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore your feelings, process past experiences, navigate the changes pregnancy brings, and prepare emotionally for the transition to parenthood.

You can feel excited about meeting your baby and still grieve the life that is about to change. You can feel grateful for this pregnancy and still find it hard. You don't have to wait until things feel unmanageable to seek support.

Whether you are coping with pregnancy-related anxiety, a previous loss, fears about childbirth, relationship challenges, or complicated feelings about becoming a parent, you deserve support throughout this journey.
