My Approach to Therapy

My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported through whatever season of life you are navigating. I am honored to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your own resilience.

I have training in a variety of modalities to allow me to tailor my approach to the person who is sitting in front of me. I truly believe that there is no one size fits all approach when it comes to therapy and I hope to work together to find an approach that resonates with you. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and compassion and mindfulness-based approaches to craft a space that meets your needs.

I often help folks to deepen self-awareness and explore patterns that may no longer serve them. We may work to change unhelpful patterns where possible, and build acceptance and flexibility where change isn't possible or helpful. Together, we explore ways to live in greater alignment with what matters most.

My research has focused on postpartum mental health and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and this work informs my clinical approach. I believe that this empirical lens allows me to be a better psychologist, grounding my approach in what research supports.

Along with this training, I bring genuine care, curiosity, and a belief that you are the expert on your own experiences. We'll work together to discover what truly feels supportive and helpful to you.

More About me

Outside the office, I am often traveling, reading, antiquing/thrifting, skiing, and getting outside however I can! I am an animal lover and aspiring pet parent. I have been through fertility treatments myself and recognize the complexity of the process and the invisible weight that we can carry throughout.
